Gangtok, September 1: The High Court of Sikkim has reconstituted a committee tasked with reviewing the existing High Court Rules and rules concerning the proper management and preservation of disposed records of the High Court and subordinate courts.
The reconstitution has been made through a notification issued by the High Court of Sikkim, partially modifying an earlier Notification No. 75/HCS dated June 13, 2026.
The committee will be headed by Justice Bhaskar Raj Pradhan, Judge, High Court of Sikkim, as its Chairperson.
The other members of the committee are N. Rai, Senior Advocate, High Court of Sikkim; the Registrar (Judicial Service), High Court of Sikkim; the Legal Remembrancer-cum-Secretary, Law & Parliamentary Affairs Department; the Central Project Coordinator, High Court of Sikkim; and Chunu Subba, Joint Legal Officer, Law & Parliamentary Affairs Department, Government of Sikkim.
The committee has been entrusted with revisiting the High Court Rules and examining the rules governing the management and preservation of disposed records in both the High Court and subordinate courts.
